Can a man, paradoxically, master the finer points of bubble tea while living the clumsy life of a stage hand? Also: how long can a person suffer chronic back pain? Gooseking 3000, the moniker of Ernst-Jan van Doorn (Mozes and the Firstborn, Mark Lada’s Golden Arches), never went looking for the answers to those questions. He IS the answer. The singing guitarist (or guitar-playing singer) churns out tunes from his two-room universe on Floraplein in Eindhoven about the important things in life: back pain, noisy scooters and of course, that sweet, sweet nostalgia.
